Welcome to our page on Lawn Mower Tire Lawn
Mower Tire A lawn
mower tire is such a small insignificant thing , yet when they seize
up or the bearings fail, it may cost you the price of a new lawn
mower. Replacement tires along with the repair bill can be expensive
and some consumers ask themselves why they just do not purchase another
lawn mower, instead of paying for repairs. Most
people will take their lawn mower in for repairs including lawn mower
tire repairs, so they end up paying for parts and labor. The costs
can quickly add up to a point were it makes sense to just buy another
lawn mower instead of repairing the lawn mower tires. There
is another solution that does not work all of the time, but if it
does you can save quite a bit of money. First and obvious solution
is to do your own repairs. My rule is that the money I save on doing
the repair myself allows me to purchase the tools I need for the
job, which I can use on many other projects. Sometimes if you speak
to your local small engine mechanic, they will even take the time
to tell you how to do the job, knowing that you will but parts from
them.
Lawn
mower tires come in various sizes and designs. Many are hard rubber
tires that gradually disintegrate over time. These are easy to replace
with no tube to worry about. Other tires have an inner tube and develop
leaks which have to be repaired in the same manner that you repair
an auto tire. Bearings sometimes wear out. These you probably will
have to replace with new bearings, since used bearings will often
be as warn out as you your own.
